PheeeeeeeeewHere is the reference picture: [link] This is a graphite drawing of the middle picture in the link above! I wanted to do something different for my portfolio....And also nearly kill my softer pencils in the process! I was going through a friend of mine's gallery for insparation, and I came across this self portrait she made...a year ago? Two years ago? Anyway, I asked her if it was okay for me to try and she was very kind to say 'of course' in an excited manner. Thankyou so much Lotte!!!
Everyone, check out her photography, you will be impressed!
The actual finish date of this was on Lotte's birthday, 31st of August, however I was on holiday and I had no scanner so it had to wait until now to be uploaded. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOTTE! Sorry it appears to be late!!
So about the drawing. I enjoyed it really, it was a complete change, and I really wanted to get it right. However, already, there are things I would do differently, but I don't mind, because I will never stop drawing, so I will learn and live on. -Fist in air- But before you comment/critique on the hand, neck and that general area, please note, I know full well it could do with more work, I understand it's mistakes!
Anyway, I enjoyed this, something different! And the first female except from my first drawing of a human ever that was made last Christmas. Haha. Lotte, you are amongst guys in my portfolio! Feel honoured! Just kidding. Yeeeah. Imma head.. -points over there- that way. -Wanders off-
THANKYOU everyone for your support you give me through comments faves and the occaisional watch!! I really apprieciate it, thank you so much. If I haven't already given you a llama it will surely be on your way. My llamas are cute and fluffy.
